Hydrocarbon Treatment – Unit P1
The P1 Unit was designed and built with PFAS treatment in mind, however the technology within it evolved from broader hydrocarbon treatment applications. With a varied catalogue of specialist MyCelx filter cartridges available, the system is flexible enough to face a variety of hydrocarbon challenges. The twelve filter housings within P1 contain twenty 40” cartridge filters each, and can be run in a single series of twelve vessels, or as two parallel trains of six filters each. Housings can be set up with simple sediment filters in a variety of micron ratings, through to cartridges infused with materials that target specific organic compounds and bind them to the cartridge, removing them permanently from the effluent stream. Combinations can be tailored to suit the specific effluent matrix.
