Our sediment tanks are designed to manage the settlement of solids from dewatering effluent. The sediment tank capacity required for a given project is largely dependant on analysis of the water quality and the content of suspended or dissolved particles and degree of clarity of the treated water.
- Water is pumped through the inlet pipe and travels over the cascaded baffles
- Particles settle inside each individual segment allowing clean water to overflow into the outlet chamber
- Accumulated particles are removed from the bottom of the tank as required
