Kings Square Development Project
The Kings Square Project was situated in the middle of Perth City Link and is a Western Australian Government Project. This project saw the creative collaborative works of several head contractors such as John Holland Group, Broad Constructions and Broad Civil. NPE were the preferred dewatering contractor during the development of the first four buildings, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4. Our scope of works included design and delivery of all dewatering works onsite as well as treatment and disposal of water in accordance with the dewatering management plan and legislative requirement. The project involved drilling of recharge wells and bore holes fitted with slotted casing and electric submersible pumps.
This system was set up to dewater up to 15 litres of water a second and extracted waters are treated via an NPE Metal Removal Modules and reinjection systems. Our water treatment process gathered interest from The Department of Environment and Conservation due to its ability to comply to the strict testing and reporting requirements outlined.
